Quality Manager – Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain
Our client is a leading international organization operating within the Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain sector, supporting some of the world's most demanding manufacturing environments through quality-driven and highly regulated processes.
To support the growth of its North American business, we are seeking a Quality Manager based in Bethpage, New York.
Posizione
Position Purpose:
Reporting both to the North America General Manager and the Global Head of Quality & Compliance, the Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of the local Quality Management System while serving as the primary point of contact for all customer quality-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev. D, AS9120 Rev. B and ISO 9001:2015 standards
Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Lead internal and external audits
Manage customer quality requirements and corrective actions
Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization
Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to maintain regulatory and procedural compliance
Requisiti
Background & Competencies
Must Have:
Previous experience in Quality Management roles
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
Experience managing audits and compliance activities
Leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Advanced English communication skills
Nice to Have:
AS9100 and/or AS9120 experience
Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry background
Experience with SAP
Continuous Improvement methodologies
